Al-Futtaim is looking to identify manpower/recruitment suppliers capable of providing experienced Heavy Vehicle Transport Drivers for its UAE operations.

Driver Profile
Valid UAE Driving Licence Category 3 & 4 – Manual is mandatory.
UAE Licence Category 5 & 6 will be an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in car-carrier operations.
Proven ability to operate 24-metre car carriers carrying up to 8 vehicles.
Experience with heavy trailers, flat-bed/low-bed trailers and heavy goods vehicles is preferred.
Ability to safely load and unload vehicles from car carriers.
Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, RTA regulations and road safety requirements.
Clean driving record.
Minimum secondary school qualification.
Basic English reading, writing and communication skills.
Ability to use smartphones, GPS/maps, vehicle tracking devices and digital applications.
Physically fit and capable of performing yard and transport operations.
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
Knowledge of basic truck/automotive maintenance is preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Drivers will be responsible for:

Collection and delivery of vehicles as per planned routes and schedules across the UAE.
Operating car carriers and other heavy transport vehicles safely.
Loading/unloading and securing vehicles.
Vehicle movements between AFL locations and workshops.
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintaining trip sheets, fuel records, delivery documents and other required documentation.
Updating trip status, vehicle/bin locations and other information through VTS/RDT/Smart Yard systems.
Maintaining vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
Following all UAE traffic/RTA regulations and AFL HSSE/SOP requirements.
Reporting accidents, incidents, defects, damages and traffic fines promptly.
Maintaining a damage-free and safe driving record.
Working Conditions
48 hours per week, based on operational rosters.
AFL operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Overtime/trip allowance may apply for approved work beyond normal working hours.
AFL will provide the required uniform.
Supplier must provide smartphones with data connectivity to drivers for operational/digital requirements.
Only personnel under the supplier's visa/sponsorship will be accepted.
Subcontracting of manpower is not permitted.
Supplier must provide a dedicated point of contact for AFL.
Supplier will be responsible for replacement of personnel in cases of misconduct, negligence or other unacceptable performance.

Number of immediately available Category 3 & 4 licensed drivers.
Availability of drivers with car-carrier / 24-metre, up to 8-vehicle experience.

Mobilization timeline.
Proposed flat monthly rate per driver, including all applicable manpower-related costs.
Details of what is included/excluded in the proposed rate.
Visa/sponsorship arrangements.
Replacement policy and applicable replacement timeline.
Relevant experience with logistics, automotive transportation or car-carrier operations.

Suppliers with proven access to experienced UAE Category 3 & 4 Heavy Vehicle/Car Carrier Drivers are particularly encouraged to respond.
