1) Welders: Welders are the person who does Welding, especially as profession.
a) Pipe Welders: Pipe welding generally reefers to a set of professional skills used for the joining of the pieces of the metal. This task generally requires welders to learn several methods of connecting pipes and to understand the factors that affect the quality of the connections that they intend to make. The welders does not necessarily needs any specific level of education to work in this position, though a high school education plus on the job training is usually preferred or required. Before the pipe welders are begin welding, he or she will need to be able to read a schematic or blueprint to layout the structure to be created.
b) Handrail Welders: Welders who makes handrails is called handrail welders.
c) 3G Welders: There are four positions used for groove welding job, the standard type of welding, of these numbered positions, 3G refers to a vertical welding job which isa required skill to pass a welding certification test.
d) 4G welders: 4 refer to overhead position.
e) 1G Welders: 1G refers to flat position.
f) 2G Welders: 2 refer to a horizontal position. All the above are different certification for welders.
Welding Process:
FCAW: Flux Cored ARC welding
SMAW: Shielded Metal ARC Coated with Flux also known as MMW or Manual Metal ARC
GTAW: GTAW stands for gas tungsten ARC welding.: It also refers to “TIG” welding. This process is slower than FCAW or SMAW.
GMAW: Gas Metal Arc Welding also referred to as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welders. Or MAG( Metal Active Welding)
g) Plastic Welders: Plastic welding is welding for semi-finished plastic materials, and is described in ISO 472 as a process of uniting softened surfaces of materials, generally with the aid of heat (except solvent welding). Welding of thermoplastics is accomplished in three sequential stages, namely surface preparation, application of heat and pressure, and cooling. Numerous welding methods have been developed for the joining of semi-finished plastic materials. Based on the mechanism of heat generation at the welding interface, welding methods for thermoplastics can be classified as external and internal heating methods.
On the other hand, production of a good quality weld can not only depend on the welding methods, but also weldability of base materials. Therefore, the evaluation of weldability is of critical importance before welding operation (see Rheological Weldability) for plastics.
h) TIG Welders: Welders who have the certified course certificate of GTAW is called TIG Welders: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
i) ARC Welders: Arc welding is a process that is used to join metal to metal by using electricity to create enough heat to melt metal, and the melted metals when cool result in a binding of the metals. It is a type of welding that uses a welding power supply to create an electric arc between an electrode and the base material to melt the metals at the welding point. They can use either direct (DC) or alternating (AC) current, and consumable or non-consumable electrodes. The welding region is usually protected by some type of shielding gas, vapor, or slag. Arc welding processes may be manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated.
j) Multi Welders: Those who do more than one process known as multi welders.
k) MIG Welders: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), sometimes referred to by its subtypes metal inert gas (MIG) welding or metal active gas (MAG) welding, is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.
Scaffolders:
A temporary metal or wooden framework that is used to support workmen and materials during theerection, repair, etc, of a building or other construction.
Scaffolding, also called scaffold [1] or staging,[2] is a temporary structure used to support a work crew and materials to aid in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings, bridges and all other man made structures. Scaffolding is also used in adapted forms for formwork and shoring, grandstand seating, concert stages, access/viewing towers, exhibition stands, ski ramps, half pipes and art projects.
There are four main types of scaffolding used worldwide today. These are Tube and Coupler (fitting) components, prefabricated modular system scaffold components, H-frame / facade modular system scaffolds, and timber scaffolds. Each type is made from several components which often include:
Fabricators: Fabricator (mechanical skill), a person versed in many trades who is able to construct a complex finished product from a simple idea. Fabricator (intelligence), a source agent that provides fraudulent or false information. Fabrication (disambiguation), several meanings.
The process of constructing machines and structures from raw materials is called metal fabrication. Metal fabricators (companies that specialize in this process) are called fab shops. Metal fabricators are referred to as a value added processesbecause they add additional value at a certain stage of production.
Structural Fabricator:
Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes. Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools. Metal fabrication is the building of metal structures by cutting, bending, and assembling processes. It is a value added process that involves the construction of machines and structures from various raw materials.
Plastic Fabricators:
Plastic fabrication is a term that is used to describe the processes involved in the manipulation of plastic to various end results. There is a wide variety of purposes for plastic that is manufactured or produced through this process, ranging from personal use by the fabricator to more general uses. The process of plastic fabrication is one that may be handled by an independent fabricating company that is solely dedicated to such a purpose, or it may be an arm of a manufacturing or production plant that serves the purposes of fulfilling any fabrication need of the company. Usually, the companies that have such a department are those that engage in the heavy use of plastic for various purposes, making it more cost effective and convenient for them to invest in a plastic fabricating unit.
